The World of LoLaD

The world of the Lords of Life and Death is one of life and death, hope and fear, magic and science where the exoteric and esoteric, the mad and the mundane and all things between meet. It's a future of a world that never was, but perhaps might be somewhere, in some other universe. It's a world of wonder, and terror, of the supernatural and the natural, where all our myths are far, far too real.

These are the stories and myths of a world radically changed, a world where the myths have become real, where nothing is certain any longer and all that was known has become unknown and unfamiliar. Magic exists again - and some say it never left - and science is desperately trying to explain things it's can't without giving up the very foundations of scientific thought. Old religions are flattering, new ones are being born and even older ones being rediscovered. Technology is marching on, desperate to defeat magic in the age-old war of reason against mystery and the natural and supernatural try and co-exist in something like peace.
