Colour Coding
"No! My armour is black because I’m poor. I’m not evil, I just can’t afford to polish i-" - Last words of Bern the Black Knight
Clothing is important. What you were, what you look like, how you dress - it all tells people things, even if just at an unconscious level.
CAUTION: APPLYING THE FOLLOWING STANDARDS TO REAL LIFE COULD BE HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH.

Black = Evil. (But you figured that one out already, right?)
Corpse-white Complexion = Ditto.
Grey = Undead. (That means evil.) Or wizard who has spent too much time in libraries. (Generally evil, too.)
Tan/Brown = Good.
