Halflings

Coming from the far south, halflings tend to blend into any culture and society with an almost supernatural ease. They tend to make friends quickly and have a love of adventure and making it big in the world that can startle even humans at times. However, behind their friendly exterior, most halflings hold survival to be a very high goal for themselves. Some have been known to leave companions to die rather than die themselves. Oddly enough, they rarely bother to learn magic (or at least, not the Blood magic) even though it is an asset to survival. Few halflings ever speak of their homeland except in passing and fewer still ever bother to return home.

Yes, I know this isn't much. I'll add to it later, or players can give me ideas for halflings in the world. And yes, that was a subtle hint.

Racial: +3 bluff checks (only for seduction purposes), +1 to animal empathy. If they don't have this skill, they get it as a cross-class skill with no +1 bonus instead.
