Summary: Hugh lived with his foster parents as long as he could remember. They tried to help him fit in with others, with methods such as special contact lenses to hide his odd eyes, but nothing really worked. He was beat up early on in school, and dropped out pretty early in High school, despite the fact he did fairly well academically. He took a job at a nearby convenience store, and moved to his own apartment not too far away from his parents. Both decisions were chosen in order to isolate himself from other people somewhat. He was mysteriously contacted by P-S at one point, and joined with them almost instantly. Not to say he trusts them; he doesn't. He just wants to help in the fight.
Description: Hubert looks to be around 20 or so. He wears a leather jacket, underneath which is a plain T-Shirt. He also wears blue jeans, and a pair of non-name brand sneakers that might well have come from Payless. Some mirrored shades, which he constantly wears, obscure his eyes. His hair is semi-short, and is a very pale blonde. Also, his hair appears to be thinning slightly, despite his obvious young age. He also has an odd feeling of strangeness about him. On his right wrist is a non-expensive digital watch, and a ring is on the same hand.
Personality: Hugh is basically a nice guy, and would be pretty friendly, if not for his difference. He tends to seperate himself from others, even though he does tend to worry about others' well being often. In fact, he's never even had a girlfriend or anything. Or regular friends, for that matter. He lives apart from his foster parents, but not actually very far away, and still keeps in touch with them, since they were the only people who were truly nice to him when he was young (and even nowadays, in fact). He basically lives his life from day to day, with a lifestyle most might find painfully boring, except for the 'adventures' he has when he does work for P-S, which most likely would find extremely insane. Overall though, he's ...well, learned to put up with his life. He's always felt there was something more for him though, but only felt this in the back of his mind. Also he's recently come to the realization that not all the aliens were evil, and some of his fear of his own powers has disappeared from that realization... although he will always remember what he can do to people when he loses control of himself. But he feels now that maybe if he understands his powers more, and develops them, then maybe he can also gain more control over them, and perhaps use his abilities to help others when needed.
Something Shady About Past: Once in an alleyway he found a drug addict who was extremely high. His constant telepathy/empathy was still quite uncontrolled then (well, it still is now but was even more so) and he actually received the effects of the addict's high. Although, it was quite freakish and disturbing for him, and in no way pleasurable. He barely escaped going insane. And he did so by killing the addict, thereby stopping the images. Also, at another time not too long after, he quite by accident ended up encountering a drug dealer in the process of selling some drugs to a client. Not too far away was another client, shooting up. The powerful memories of the encounter with the other addict flooded back, and the high from the client who was using added to it to drive him once again to the brink of insanity. He found himself waking up the next morning in his apartment, the memories of the horrible way he killed the three of them only coming to him later that day. By sheer luck, and likely the fact he never physically laid a hand on any of the victims, he was never caught by law enforcement. And after all, it was just drug dealers and addicts.
Obsession: To help stop the ones who gave him his "curse." ("The ones" being the aliens, and "the curse" being his abilities.) Actually, just the "evil" ones. Also, to better understand his own abilities, so as to better do the affore-mentioned, and to do his "Noble" passion ;)
