Kris Davids, Budding Cliomancer

Summary: Kris is definitely not your average 15 year old. He began channelling the Historian when he was 5, which disturbed his parents when they found their son reading and understanding a basic Latin book but not being able to explain why he knew it. He did well in school but irritated his teachers by correcting their ideas on history until his mom decided to home school him herself.
When he was 11, his parents went away for a trip and - for lack of alternatives - left him with weird uncle Joe. Joe took him to a bar, told him to read and drank and played pool for a while. Some toughs came in and started bugging him, then one took the book he were reading and, since he couldn’t read the cover, threw it across the room, breaking the spine. Something in Kris snapped and he tried to attack the man who, getting over his shock, proceeded to toss Kris into a wall.
Uncle Joe calmly told them to get lost, but when they hit him he got downright pissed. When Kris managed to shake his head enough to recover, his uncle was dodging attacks easily. The first tough saw Kris and decided to hit him again to get Joe’s attention. When Joe saw him, he did .. something ... Kris doesn’t know what, but the pool balls, cube, a few ashtrays and some drinks went flying through the air into the tough and sent him sprawling. The toughs left quickly and Kris asked Joe what happened. Joe said Kris had imagined it and Kris began telling him historical ideas of magick, getting really ticked off.
Realising his nephew was a bit more than average (and realising what he was channelling, though he never told Kris and Kris doesn’t know) he took him to a Cliomancer friend of his, Master G, who taught him spells and convinced him to work as a McDonald’s as part of Mak Attack, paying a favour back to an old friend in that organisation.

The Historian

Attributes: Everyone wants to know what the truth it. The historian is the one who seeks them out and tries to find out what really happened in the past and who did what to who and why. Some historians learn the past to teach others, or to teach themselves about mistakes they never wish to see repeated. A few even sell the truths they discover to the highest bidders.
As historians seek to know the truth, they also record history. As such, all avatars of the Historian have a photographic memory and can recall incidents in the past with a successful mind check. It only works for things seen visually, read or written down.
Taboos: The historian cannot falsify truth. If they are asked a historical question they must answer as truthfully and be as historically accurate as possible. A historian can never hide the truth or try and alter history in any large way and, perhaps most importantly, must guard and revere books and knowledge against those who would destroy them
Symbols: Often lots of books and looking a lot like a typical librarian.
Suspected Avatars in History: Too many to mention.

Channels:

1%-50%:Know historical fact. This allows a historian to use a Cliomancer Trivia effect (only for historical incidents, it rarely works for post-world war II). A historian can also read any text they see as if it was in their native language and are very quick at learning to languages as a result of this talent.
51%-70%:See the past. This power allows a historian to see as far back in the past as a number of years equal to double their age. So a 18 year old Historian could see past events at any spot up to 36 years in the past. The seeing takes 10 minutes to one hour depending on how far back and how in depth one wishes to view a places history. Brief glimpses, especially from places that are symbols or had some evil done at they recently, can strike a historian unawares as they demand to be recorded and known.
71%-90%:A historian can look at someone and trace their genealogy back as far as it is historically noted.
91%+:The historian can summon a book at need to their hand. The book remains with the historian only as long as they need to refer to it and read it. Only one book can be summoned like this at one time and the book cannot be harmed or destroyed. If it is, it returns to its owner in its former state.
